Son Number One...Josh is enjoying college in Juneau. Josh is studying Marine Biology...and what an incredible place to do it. (more:...see the JOSH page) I will be visiting him in a few months. We are already planning hiking trips, renting a cabin on one of the mountains...yes..I AM going to do an overnighter!!!! AND OF COURSE...glaciers and kayaking... We love to travel...Being from Minnesota originally...first there is a love of fishing....so we not only fished the Minnesota lakes...but continued the tradition upon the move to SOUTH DAKOTA - WITH FRIENDS..Now with our dear friends Doug and Laurel...we make the annual sojourn to Fishing in CANADA with DOUG & LAUREL in May...Big time Fishing. MINNESOTA...wow...fishing, arts, music... Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion and of course our dear friends, Roger and Annie Gato have us not only visit them in Wisconsin for Summerfest in Milwaukee.. but to their gorgeous home in Saddlebrook, TUCSON...AZ We usually fly to Arizona...but also tried to drive it...and passing through TAOS on the way...made the trip magnificent...plus...I got to visit one of the galleries that carries my jewelry in TAOS KLOSTERS IN THE SWISS ALPS is a favorite of ours in winter AND summer! with my German heritage...I guess GERMANY was just too much fun...great food, wine and the hospitality of our hosts in Tuttlingen was outstanding |
